The son of Scottish and Canadian parents, I recognize how our personal and shared histories bring us together to share and enjoy Treaty 7 land.

 

My own journey is one of migration, starting from growing up in the Middle East to graduating high school in Calgary. As a teen, the novelty of fresh snow drew me to competitive cross-country skiing. The sport fuelled my passion for health, the outdoors, and finally youth coaching. It was through volunteer coaching that I discovered the joys of spending time getting to know young people and helping them on their own journeys.
